Travel tips for driving to the Salzburg Sportwelt in Austria:
Please note that you require a toll sticker (Vignette sticker) for all Austrian motorways (Autobahn). This toll sticker can be purchased when entering Austria in tobacco shops and at toll stops, as well as at gas stations near the borders.
Reaching the Salzburg Sportwelt from the north or south:
Coming from the north you follow the Austrian Tauernautobahn A10 motorway towards Graz, Villach. If you are travelling from the south to the Salzburg Sportwelt follow the Tauernautobahn A10 motorway towards Salzburg.
- To reach Flachau: Take the Flachau exit – after only a couple of minutes you will reach your final destination.
- To reach Wagrain: From the Flachau autobahn exit it’s another 10 kilometres on the A Road (Bundesstraße) 163 toward St. Johann im Pongau to reach Wagrain.
- To reach St. Johann-Alpendorf: Take the Knoten Pongau autobahn exit, then continue on the B311 A Road, which is the Pinzgauer Bundesstrasse. After 5 kilometres you will reach St. Johann.
- To reach Radstadt: Take the Altenmarkt exit junction then continue on the Ennstal-Bundesstraße to reach Radstadt (it is another 6 kilometres).
- To reach Altenmarkt-Zauchensee: Take the Altenmarkt autobhan exit and you will be there within minutes.
- To reach Kleinarl: Take the Flachau autobahn exit.
- To reach Eben im Pongau: Take the Eben exit.
- To reach Filzmoos: Take the Eben im Pongau exit, continue on the A road 11 Kilometres to Filzmoos.
